Tyler J. VanderWeele is the John L. Loeb and Frances Lehman Loeb Professor of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, with appointments in both the Departments of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He directs the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard and co-directs the Initiative on Health, Spirituality, and Religion. His research spans causal inference methodology, psychiatric and social epidemiology, the science of happiness and flourishing, and religion and health, with over 600 peer-reviewed publications.
