Matt Bradshaw is Research Professor of Sociology at Baylor University's Institute for Studies of Religion and a member of the Institute for Global Human Flourishing. His research examines the relationships between religion, health, and psychological wellbeing across the life course, with particular attention to how religious beliefs and practices — including prayer, service attendance, and perceived attachment to God — function as social and psychological resources. He also holds an adjunct professorship in psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Duke University School of Medicine.
