Ying Chen is a research scientist in the Department of Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and an empirical research associate and data scientist at the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard. She holds a doctorate (Sc.D.) from Harvard's Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Epidemiology. Her research focuses on social determinants of health and human flourishing, including the role of religious participation, childhood experiences, and social support in shaping long-term health outcomes.
