James O. Pawelski is Professor of Practice and Director of Education in the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania, where he co-founded and directs the Master of Applied Positive Psychology program. His scholarly work spans positive psychology, philosophy of well-being, and the humanities' role in cultivating human flourishing, and he has led a multi-million-dollar grant examining the Humanities and Human Flourishing. He is founding executive director of the International Positive Psychology Association.
