Jeff Levin is University Professor of Epidemiology and Population Health, Professor of Medical Humanities, and Director of the Program on Religion and Population Health at the Institute for Studies of Religion at Baylor University. He is widely credited as a founder of the epidemiology of religion field and has authored over 230 scholarly publications on the role of religious practice in physical and mental health and aging. His research includes extensive work on Jewish population health using data from Israel and the diaspora.
