William J. Chopik is Associate Professor of Psychology at Michigan State University, where he directs the Close Relationships Lab. His research examines how social relationships, personality, and contextual factors (biological, hormonal, geographic) shape health and wellbeing across the lifespan. He has published over 160 papers and received multiple early-career awards including the APS Rising Star Award and the 2024 Gerald R. Miller Award for Early Career Achievement.
