Laura D. Kubzansky is Professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences and Director of the Society and Health Laboratory at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She holds a PhD in social psychology from the University of Michigan and an MPH from Harvard, and is a founding director of the Lee Kum Sheung Center for Health and Happiness. Her research investigates the role of psychological and social factors — particularly stress, emotion, and positive well-being — in cardiovascular and other chronic disease outcomes. She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Academy of Behavioral Medicine Research.
