Blake Victor Kent is Associate Professor of Sociology at Westmont College and a Research Affiliate at Harvard University's Human Flourishing Program and at Massachusetts General Hospital's Center on Genomics, Vulnerable Populations, and Health Disparities. He is a Non-Resident Scholar at Baylor University's Institute for Studies of Religion and serves on the Global Flourishing Study's core analysis team. His research centers on associations between religion and spirituality and mental and physical health, with particular attention to subjective religious experiences such as attachment to God.
