Young-Il Kim is Associate Professor of Sociology at George Fox University, where he joined the faculty in 2017. He holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Virginia and previously served as a postdoctoral scholar and research assistant professor at Baylor University's Institute for Studies of Religion. His research examines how family structure and voluntary associations influence generosity and social solidarity, with published work in Social Science Research, Scientific Reports, and Review of Religious Research.
