Kelly-Ann Allen

Kelly-Ann Allen is an Associate Professor and ARC DECRA Fellow in the School of Educational Psychology and Counselling at Monash University, and an Honorary Principal Fellow at the Centre for Wellbeing Science at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on belonging across the lifespan — how it develops, declines, and can be enhanced, particularly in educational and organisational settings. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Educational and Developmental Psychologist, co-director of the Global Belonging Collaborative, and author of several books including the award-winning The Psychology of Belonging (Routledge, 2021). She contributes to the Global Flourishing Study's cross-national research on belonging.
