Jeffrey A. Hanson is Associate Professor of Philosophy at New College of Florida, having previously served for eight years as Senior Philosopher at Harvard University's Human Flourishing Program. His philosophical work spans Kierkegaard, phenomenology, philosophy of religion, and aesthetics, with an ongoing focus on the practical value of philosophy for human flourishing. He is author of several books, including a history of the philosophy of work in the Platonic tradition.
