W. Bradford Wilcox is Professor of Sociology and the Melville Foundation Jefferson Scholars Foundation University Professor at the University of Virginia, where he also directs the National Marriage Project. He is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Family Studies and a visiting scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. His research focuses on marriage, fatherhood, and the role of family stability in the well-being of adults and children, with work published in the American Sociological Review, Social Forces, and the Journal of Marriage and Family.
