Uchechukwu Levi Osuagwu is Senior Lecturer and Academic Lead for Rural Health in the School of Medicine at Western Sydney University, and a Research Fellow at the Translational Health Research Institute. He holds a doctorate from Queensland University of Technology and his research spans diabetes prevention, eye health, chronic disease epidemiology, global health, and the health of African migrant and indigenous communities in Australia. He founded the Center for Eye Care and Public Health Intervention Initiative (CEPHII).
