Susan L. Prescott is Professor of Planetary Health in the School of Medicine at the University of Western Australia and a Senior Principal Research Fellow at the UWA Medical School. She is a pediatrician and immunologist at Perth Children's Hospital and a Founding Director of the ORIGINS Project at the KIDS Research Institute Australia. Her research focuses on early environmental determinants of health and disease, including pediatric allergy, microbiome science, and developmental origins of noncommunicable diseases. She is also an award-winning author of multiple popular science books.
