Shunsuke Managi is Distinguished Professor and Director of the Urban Institute at Kyushu University in Japan, where he also serves as Chief Sustainability Officer. His research spans urban analytics, climate change economics, sustainable development, and wellbeing, and he is a lead author for the IPCC and a coordinating lead author for the IPBES.
