Rebecca Bonhag is a postdoctoral research associate at the Institute for Studies of Religion at Baylor University, where she received her Ph.D. in Sociology. Her research examines how religion intersects with mental health, gender, family, and the sense of mattering — the degree to which individuals feel significant to others and their communities. She has published in the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, Review of Religious Research, and Social Science Quarterly.
