Peggy Kern is Professor of Wellbeing Science at the Centre for Wellbeing Science, Faculty of Education, University of Melbourne. Originally trained in social, personality, and developmental psychology, she holds a PhD from the University of California, Riverside, and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research examines wellbeing measurement, individual and social factors shaping life trajectories, and systems-informed approaches to flourishing across the lifespan, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications.
