Paul Dolan is Professor of Behavioural Science in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research spans health economics and behavioural science, covering topics including wellbeing measurement, health valuation, nudging, and the design of public policy to improve quality of life. He wrote the ONS national wellbeing questions used by the UK government, co-authored the most-cited paper in the Economic Journal since 2008 with Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman, and has published three popular books on happiness.
