
Midori Takayama is a Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Liberal Arts at Keio University's Faculty of Science and Technology, where she specialises in life-span development and psychological gerontology. Her research examines individual differences in psychological dynamics across adulthood and old age, with a focus on psychosocial predictors of longevity and well-being in older Japanese adults. She has contributed to several longitudinal aging studies including the K2 (Keio-Kawasaki Aging) Study and the SONIC Study.
