Micah Kaats is a doctoral candidate in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and a Research Associate at the Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on the determinants and downstream effects of subjective wellbeing, social connectedness, and happiness, with applications in labor economics, health, and political behavior. He also serves as a Senior Analyst at the Happiness Research Institute and is Principal Investigator of the Health and Happiness Study.
