Laura Upenieks is Associate Professor of Sociology and Undergraduate Program Director at Baylor University. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Toronto (2019) and joined the Baylor faculty in 2020. Her research focuses on religion and health, aging and the life course, and quantitative methods, with ongoing projects examining individuals' perceived relationship with God and well-being, religious virtues and health, and religious and spiritual struggles across the lifespan.
