Kokoro Shirai is a Senior Researcher in the Department of Global Health Metrics and Evaluation at the Institute for Global Health Policy Research (iGHP), Japan Institute for Health Security, Tokyo, and a Project Associate Professor of Public Health at Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine. Her research focuses on social determinants of healthy aging in Japan and globally, aiming to reduce health inequalities among older adults. She has also held research positions at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Peking University.
