Kaymarlin Govender is Research Director at the Health Economics and HIV/AIDS Research Division (HEARD) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa, with a partial appointment in the School of Psychology. He holds an MA from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a DLitt et Phil from the University of South Africa. His research addresses psychosocial and behavioural dimensions of HIV and AIDS, masculine identities, and the well-being of young people; he has also contributed to the Global Flourishing Study's South Africa analysis.
