Kate Shellnutt is a religion journalist and editor who spent more than 15 years at Christianity Today, most recently as editorial director of news, where she oversaw current-events and news-driven content. Her reporting has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Vox, and other major outlets, and has been recognized by the Religion News Association and the Evangelical Press Association. She is currently Principal and Managing Editor at Praxis, a Christian professional community and publication. She is based in Augusta, Georgia.
