Johannes C. Eichstaedt is Assistant Professor of Psychology at Stanford University and a Shriram Faculty Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. Originally trained as a physicist, he became a computational psychologist studying mental and physical health through natural language processing and machine learning applied to social media and other text data. He co-founded the World Well-Being Project in 2011 and co-directs the CREATE Center for AI therapy at Stanford.
