Heather Templeton Dill served as President and CEO of the John Templeton Foundation from 2015 to July 2025, overseeing grants totaling more than $743 million in support of research into the big questions of science, religion, and human flourishing. She is the granddaughter of the foundation's founder, Sir John Templeton, and previously served as a trustee and executive liaison to the president. She currently serves as Interim Director of the Templeton Prize, one of the world's largest annual individual awards. She holds a degree from the University of Notre Dame and previously taught history and economics at the secondary level.
