Dennis J. Snower

Dennis J. Snower is an American-German economist and Founding President of the Global Solutions Initiative (GSI) in Berlin, which advises the G20 and G7 on socioeconomic policy. He is a Professorial Research Fellow at the Institute for New Economic Thinking at Oxford University, a Visiting Professor at the Institute for Global Prosperity at University College London, and a Research Associate at the Harvard Human Flourishing Program. He is best known for developing the insider-outsider theory of employment and unemployment (with Assar Lindbeck), the SAGE wellbeing measurement framework (with Katharina Lima de Miranda), and the concept of caring economics (with Tania Singer).
